Senior Commercialisation Manager 

  • Working for a leading Research Institution, where you will be at the forefront of research

  • Daily exposure to the Senior Leadership Team, also working for leaders who value development and constantly drive to ensure there is a strong team culture

  • Broad commercialisation role: partnering with researchers & external partners, driving licensing & spin outs, adding value to stakeholders for best commercial outcomes, providing investment proposals, securing funding, capital raising, advising new ventures

This individual will provide specialist commercialisation expertise and insights and play a vital role in identifying, developing, and championing entrepreneurial opportunities and delivering impactful research & innovation translation outcomes.

·Drive and deliversignificant technology commercialisation and innovation investment outcomes across the organisation.

·Develop positive, constructive relationships with scientific and business professionals at all organisational levels.

·Identify and secure major research & innovation collaboration opportunities with global route-to-impact partners and investors.

·Develop high-quality investment proposals for delivering early-stage commercialisation licensing, spin-out and startup ventures.

Skills & Experience Required

·Experienced in translating research inventions into real-world innovations that impact current and emerging challenges.

·Strong capabilities in global IP strategy, protection, licensing and management.

·Experience in incubating and delivering successful commercialisation deals, spinouts, startup ventures and outcomes.

·Highly developed communication, leadership and people engagement skills.
